This is a little blog intended to show up as an RSS feed in my main blog, Me Fail? I Fly!. I make a note here when I start reading a book, and mostly write something there when I finish. Click on an image for a link. Blogger lets you choose from a number of views. For example, try mosaic view.

Sydney Festival: I Am Eora (Wesley Enoch, Anita Heiss and others 2012)
A three part musical entertainment – Pemulwuy the warrior, Barangaroo the nurturer and Bennelong the interpreter, though Bennelong gets short shrift and ends up looking like a sell-out rather than anything constructive. A showcase for some fabulous talent, in particular rapper Nooky and singer Wilma Reading. Linda Burney reads her 2003 inaugural speech to the NSW Parliament, which richly earns its place here. But the real star of the evening is the video work by Mic Gruchy.
